Wednesday night, the Governor said, “We don’t hear this enough these days, so I’m just gonna say it: we will come through this. We will get to the other side. We’re not there yet. But there is hope. Don’t ever forget that. We all have dark days. We will not give in to them.”
Reeves also stated, “To anyone struggling through this time: Don’t give up on life. Keep fighting. There is light at the end of the tunnel. There are people who love you. You are needed in this world and this state. Stay safe and God bless Mississippi.”
